The problem started two months ago. Everything was working fine before.
If I connect the adapter and put my PC to sleep, the PC restarts after some time. Event viewer says critical error.
If I perform a system restore to a point before the adapter was first connected, the problem disappears, i.e. the PC does not restart during sleep.
As soon as I connect the adapter once, the PC again starts restarting during sleep.
Any ideas?
Dell XPS and Windows 11
Hi @Jason K
Here are 3 suggestions for you, you can try them:
① Provide SN update program;
② Manually update the computer graphics card driver;
③Update system patches in Windows settings and update optional updates in advanced options.
Best regards

What do you mean by "Provide SN update program"?
@Jason K Hi,This means that you provide the product SN number and then update the corresponding program. If you don't know how to operate, you can try the other two methods first.
I have tried the other two methods and the problem did not go away.
The serial number on the box is X001783W89.
Hi,It does not refer to the serial number of the box, but to the serial number of the product (usually on the back of the product, you can send us a photo.)
There is no serial number. See photos.
Well, my computer does not have USB-A ports (that is why I bought the hub), and connecting it using a USB-A to USB-C adaptor does not work. "USB has been removed!"
Usually the installation step is to connect a Windows computer, connect only one HDMI port cable on the product, if you can recognize the display, then you can upgrade.
When did you buy this product of ours? Could you please send us the order number to check?
