HDMI Extra Dual Monitor Stopped Working

  • Hello,

I have a SEDK0701 connected to my laptop and two external monitors.  It was working well with the 3 displays.  However, it all of a sudden stopped recongizing one of the monitors when the 2 external ones are plugged in.  If i use each external monitor independently (single hdmi at at time), both work indivudally.  It's very odd as it was operating no issues.

  • Hi @S B:

    So sorry for the inconvenience.
Do you have three monitors connected simultaneously using the product's two HDMI ports and the VGA port?
If so, in order to better help you solve the problem, could you please provide the following information?

❶The laptop and the hub are not connected to other devices, use only one monitor at a time and connect the product individually to see if all three display output ports work?

❷If one of the 3 external monitors does not light up, it is most likely because the computer processor does not support 3 external monitors. You can press win+x, select system information, and then provide us with a screenshot of this page for your query.

❸The 3 external monitors are not bright, and it may be due to the bandwidth limitation of the computer's USB-C port. For example, in the case of DP1.2, only 2 displays can be lit, and the third display will not work, which is normal. In the case of DP1.4, if the resolution refresh rate of the first two monitors is too high, the third monitor will not work.

Please check the above problems first. In order to better solve your problem, please provide the laptop model and computer brand name. And provide the SN number of the product.

Thank you for your understanding and support.
    Looking forward to your reply!
    Sincerely,
    Lucy

  • I have a ThinkPad core I7 from Intel and have the same problem than above mentionned. Did your solutions that have already been applied, resulted in other solution than buy another Selore: SEUC0409!?

  • @Jean Houle

We suspect a compatibility issue with the device, not a product malfunction. So you can try the above solution and troubleshoot the problem.

Thank you for your understanding and support.
    Looking forward to your reply!
    Sincerely,
    Lucy
