  Thanks for your information.

  Please try the following steps:

  1. Turn the USB-C port on the docking station over and reinsert it into the laptop to see if there are still any anomalies.
  2. Use Driver Wizard or er DrivTalent Pro, Driver Magician, Driver Booster Pro, Driver Reviver, and other driver software to scan detect and download and install drivers.
  3. Find the Universal Serial Master Controller inside the Device Manager, then uninstall the USB driver, then right-click to scan for hardware changes and reacquire the driver; especially note that there is an exclamation point, you need to first uninstall, then right-click to scan for hardware changes, it will automatically install. Finally, it is recommended to reboot the laptop.

  Hi Judy,

  It seems that I had to do a power drain on my laptop which for some reason helped.

  "..it would be nice to perform a power drain on the laptop by long-pressing its Power button for several seconds until it turns off. Once done, turn it back on after a minute, then see if the ports will now work again."

  I hope this might help also to others.
