Hello,
I have an issue with the SEDK1401 USB-C port where my SSD is connected to :
Suddenly, and randomly it disconnects. Then, it reconnects again.
I noticed this because windows notifies the disconnection with a typical sound, and I could then verify the SDD is not present in the windows explorer, neither on the disk manager.
This issue happens on both USB-C 3.1 ports, but never when the SDD is connected to the laptop USB-C port.
My SEDK1401 USB-HUB is connected to :
- My windows laptop (Asus Zenbook)
- The power supply of my windows laptop.
- A 4K Display via HDMI
- An RF USB dongle for my keyboard
- A Crucial X8 SDD (on front USB-C 3.1 port)
I wouldn’t like this disconnection happens when the SSD is active, because it could corrupt SSD data inside.
Could you please tell me how to solve this issue ?
Thanks and regards,
Dear @Michel FERRIER
