None of the HDMI ports work on my SEDK1407 with my Asus Zenbook S 14 (UX5406).
I have just bought the SEDK1407 from Amazon, SN: H59AA312017
All other devices attached to the Selore SEDK1407 are fine, I can use for instance, keyboard and mouse that are using the USBs.
The laptop is charging through the SEDK1407, and based on the specific, it has Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports.
Still, both monitors, that I know work as they were attached to the laptop with an older dockstation, same configuration, are both blank as if no signal has been received at all.
Suggestions before sending the device back to Amazon UK?
Just an update that I also tried using a different laptop - a lenovo I use for work and that I connect to monitors using its USB C port on a daily basis - and it's still not working.
Unless you have new driver for the DK1407 that I need to install, I am going to return it to Amazon.
Hi,
To better solve the problem, please provide the information as follows:
1. Please ensure you are using DP-to-DP or HDMI-to-HDMI cables for connection.
2. Try manually updating the graphics card driver.
3. After updating, connect the SEDK1407 and check the display settings to see if the external monitor is detected.
4. If the issue persists, please provide complete connection photos or a video (including the computer, SEDK1407, and monitors, etc.).
Note: Please use the cables included with the product.
Best regards
Hi
1. Both monitors are connected HDMI-to-HDMI.
2. All drivers on both laptops are up to date. The USB-C port works fine directly connected to monitors, same for the HDMI (from laptop to monitor directly).
3. No monitor is detected at all, even after asking Windows to detect via the Display Options
4. I can provide a picture, but it's a quite simple set up:
- the laptop is connected to the SEDK1407 using the "Host" port with the USB-C cable provided from you.
- The two monitors are directly connected to the SEDK1407 using the HDMI-to-HTMI cables.
- Everything is "on", the SEDK1407 light is on, the laptop does recognise keyboard and mouse also connected via USB A to the SEDK1407, and the laptop is getting charged. The issue is only related to the HDMI ports.
