Docking Station constantly restarts.


  • I recently got a model SEDK1407 docking station. I've hooked everything up correctly and confirmed there are no issues with my computer, monitors, or cables. Every couple of minutes I lose all connection to the docking station. My monitors loose signal, my mouse and keyboard disconnect, and I see that the ethernet port light turns off. It's almost as if the docking station is rebooting itself every few minutes.

    The first possibility is that the power supply adapter is abnormal, resulting in abnormal docking power supply and phased disconnection;
    The second possibility is that your computer port is abnormal, and all connections are disconnected when there is shaking;
    The third possibility, wiring or connection is abnormal;

    Therefore, in order to facilitate the analysis, please provide a complete video to see the specific connection and problem performance;
    Also provide computer brand model and other information.

  • Computer is an HP ZBook 15 G6.

    ① Confirm whether to use our configured cable, if not, please use our configured cable;

    ② Click the link to download to the computer and upgrade the graphics card driver.

  • Yes, I am using the cable provided with the dock.

    This is a company computer, so I can't just download a different driver, but I did just check and all drivers are up to date.


  • Hi @Michael Cooper , the driver I posted above is a program made by our technical colleagues for this, which is different from other drivers

  • This is a work computer and I cannot just run random programs on it. Are there any other solutions?
