Firstly, please notice that if your monitors are not the same resolution, the solution will be based on the smallest monitor. When the smaller monitor resolution is 1080, both monitors are at 1080 resolution.
If your two monitors are the same resolution, please try the following steps to adjust the resolution.
- Enter the display interface. (Settings---System---Display)
- Now you need to set the interface, press the Win+P key and select the extended mode.
- Select the display window that needs to be adjusted with the mouse, and then select the resolution in the display resolution bar.
- If the above operation cannot select a suitable resolution, go to the bottom of the page, Advanced Display Settings.
- First, determine the model of the external display that needs to be adjusted, then click to enter Display Adapter Properties→List All Modes→Select Adjust Resolution→Set the resolution you need, and then click OK.
