Hi, I just received my docking station bought from this link https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0CLGKDD88?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1
I connected the two HDMI ports to my external monitors, my laptop is HP ZBook 14u g6, the laptop is being charged through the PD but the monitors are blank and the laptop is'nt able to detect the monitors.
Is this a faulty product?
I know there is no issue with the cables or the laptop because I can connect to another docking station (from another brand) without problem
Hi @Joel Min,
Thanks for your support.
To better solve your problem, please provide the information as follows:
① Connect a single monitor separately to see if it can be displayed normally.
② Can you open the display settings of your laptop to check if the laptop recognises the monitor and provide the relevant pictures?
③ Are you using the same HDMI-HDMI or DP-DP cable at both ends for connection? You can't use the HDMI-DP or HDMI-VGA cable, which is not the same at both ends.
④ Replace the device for testing, connect the MODK1401 with other devices that support video output, whether the monitor can display normally.
⑤ Provide complete connection pictures and videos (the content should include laptop, docking station and monitor)
Note: Product requires connection using MODK1401's supplied wiring.
Best regards
