Hello
I have a Macbook M1 Pro 2021, which only supports one internal display and two external monitors in extended-display mode (3 independent screens in total). Any additional monitors are mirrored.
My friend has the same Macbook, but has a Selore SEUC0224 USB-C hub which gives them an extra two monitors in extended-display mode (5 independent screens in total).
This would be perfect for me, because my previous Macbook was 2019 Intel Macbook Pro with Radeon GPU, allowing four external independent monitors.
I find three independent screens very limiting for work, and would like to increase this back to 5 independent screens.
My question to you is: Is the SEUC0224 still available? If not, what USB-C hubs support dual extended-displays on MacOS, so I can 5 independent screens again?
I am aware I would need to install the Silicon Motion software to enable screens 4 and 5, but this is not a problem. From what I have seen, there is no performance impact using the Silicon Motion software at all.
Thank you very much.
